Michael describes himself as having the work ethic of The Group Theatre mixed with the stage prowess of Ethel Merman. He is a classically trained actor and singer. From period dramas, golden age musicals and Shakespeare. Michael has taken a big bite out of the theatrical canon -- he has performed several of the great male musical theatre roles and has studied and taken on the language and style of Shakespeare, Ibsen and Chekhov in major roles. He has trained in dialects, stage combat and biomechanics. Michael is inspired by the old- school grandeur of the theatre.
Off the stage, Michael boasts about his home state of Rhode Island, where he got his start at the age of 5, playing a Blue Bird, a role of enormous importance. Michael has a BFA in Drama Performance from Hofstra University. Michael is based in New York City.
